A slow start

Start of a new week and hopefully a productive one.

So first things first: I will not blog over weekends due to time limits – I will be doing other work together with my PhD this year; like teaching, reviews and language work.

Second, this blog might end up being bilingual – I am actually Afrikaans-speaking, studying Afrikaans literature at an English medium University. And if that is not psychedelic enough, my research will probably be 60% – 70% in English and my thesis will be written in Afrikaans.

Furthermore I have about 5 more theory texts to thoroughly read and take concise notes on as well as write a short 1st draft character analysis to have something ready for my supervisor when the academic year starts later this month.

Lastly I am still waiting to hear if I have any funding for the year and for the official letter of acceptance and registration.

Groete

Anke
